To think that all of the action in Brazil takes place in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo is to be mistaken. Many of Brazil’s cities offer hidden pleasures, which most foreigners never find out about. Belo Horizonte is one such city, where myth has it that the ratio of men to women is 7:1. With those kind of odds, how could we not check out Belo.

We headed out of Florianopolis and on our way to Belo Horizonte. We hadn’t heard much if anything about Belo Horizonte at all. Quite a few of the women in Rio are from Belo and say that it is one of the best kept secrets in Brazil. Well, that was good enough for us so we put it on our list. We were here for only a couple of days, but what a time we had in that short period

After landing in Belo we checked into our typical Parthenon Apart/Hotel, also call Parthenon Flats. These are great places to stay because they have just about everything you want in an apartment, including full kitchens, plus the services of a hotel. But most importantly, apart/hotels allow unregistered guests. We stayed in these types of hotels all over Brazil.

Once we got all settled in, we took a look around town and stopped at a local restaraunt to get some grub. We'd head that Belo Horizonte was one of the best kept secrets in Brazil and that it reportedly has a female to male ratio of over 7 to 1. Well, I cannot validate this statement, but I will say that we were more than happy with the selection of women in this city.

After getting settled into our first night in Belo, we went to a nightclub called Boite Skorpius and met a bunch of crazy-ass girls who wanted to continue the fiesta back at the hotel. Shit was crazy from the time we got to the hotel. The girls started taking off there clothes in the elevator. We knew it was going to be a good night. See for yourself:
