The next day we woke up and decided to head out again and check out the action. We hit the Rio Sul mall and were impressed by the caliber of women we found at the mall in the middle of the day. They just seem to be everywhere in huge numbers. We spent most of the day indoors since it was raining pretty steadily almost everyday. Usually something like this would piss me off, but hey, WE WERE IN RIO!! So we go to the Varig office in Copacabana Beach and begin inquiring about a ticket to Salvador Bahia. While we were waiting to see the next agent, another tourist recommended we head over to Ipanema and hang out at some of the local outdoor cafes they have there. Some excellent food and girl-watching he said.
